The Power of HeArtful

It always feels good when I see the magic of the arts providing opportunities to others. In some ways, that magic comes out in P.O.W.ER, but writing isn’t my only means of sharing this passion. My life has become a journey from one creative project to another, always with the aim of sharing story, bringing joy, and giving voice to the silent. I believe that stories are what connect us with each other, and the more we share them in creative ways, the better off the world will be. That is why, in addition to writing and academic teaching, I started a company called heArtful Theatre Company, which just completed the first of many collaborations with the Seven Hills Foundation.

Hearful bows

Some  of you have expressed interested in hearing about the adventures of heArtful Theatre Company, although most don’t subscribe to the heArtful blog. (I know . . . so many blogs, so little time). But, I would like to invite you to wander over there for a moment, to read more about “A heArtful Experience with Seven Hills Foundation’s ASPiRE Program”

I believe it will make your heart feel good–plus there are lots of pictures. Although here are a few of my favorites.

What heArtful adventure should I do next?

There’s nothing to stop me from traveling to do short workshops, or longer ones during the summer. It just needs funding.

I love words, so I'd love to hear yours! Talk with me.
